Sporting a completely solid and contoured double-cut body of mahogany with a slightly shortened scale length down to 24.6 inches, the Electromatic CVT takes clear influence at a foundational level from its Corvette predecessors. As a result, it is an extremely comfortable instrument to play. However, the Electromatic CVT turns the corner with a more contemporary facelift, offering tamed takes on its classic body shape and pickguard. Other modern updates include a Falcon-style headstock, charming Neo-Classical fingerboard inlays, an adjustable wraparound bridge, and a laurel-topped bolt-on okoume neck shaped to a speedy Performance C profile. Optimized master controls for its pair of Twin Six humbuckers make dialing in fierce dual-coil tones a streamlined convenience for stage play. From beginners on a budget to seasoned 6-stringers looking to simplify, the Gretsch Electromatic CVT really puts the pedal to the metal.
