The PRS S2 McCarty 594 electric guitar offers versatile, vintage-inspired tones in a modern, reliable instrument. With a bound 22-fret Pattern Vintage neck and slightly thicker body for enhanced sustain, the S2 McCarty 594 feels instantly familiar in your hands. Anchored by a zinc two-piece bridge and vintage-style tuners, this guitar delivers on the McCarty family's promise of resonant tone and playability. Like all PRS guitars, the S2 McCarty 594 starts with a foundation of high-quality tonewoods. The mahogany body and maple top provide balanced warmth and clarity, while the mahogany neck enhances midrange richness and sustain. Together with the pickups, these woods produce impressive resonance for a guitar in this price range. The slightly thicker body also helps the S2 McCarty 594 ring out with more sustain than a typical single-cutaway guitar.
